I thought south america would get the ps3 at the same time as the rest of america...? Can' t seem to find any specific info on Uruguay though.

Importing one might just be your best bet dude. South America is a pretty tough market for them to sell to, so you' re most likely going to get shafted with the official launch. At least that' s what I' ve seen.
