This isn' t going to end well.

REhorror linked to a post by a moderator (in the loosest sense) on Capcoms [US] forums that claimed Capcom had announced that there would be RE5 " news" in the next Famitsu.

The current issue says nothing whatsoever about RE5, and Capcom haven' t issued any press releases. All we know is that Capcom told Famitsu that RE5 wouldn' t be released until 2008, ...and that was nearly a month ago.

REhorror says...

The next issue of Famitsu is supposed to contain the first preview of Resident Evil 5 since the Sony Meeting in 2005. It is expected to have the first screenshots of the game.

Capcom announced that in the next issue of Famitsu there will be news regarding RE5. ' til then.

There' s also a locked NeoGAF thread HERE that was originally titled ' RE5 in next week' s Famitsu' and was changed to ' No RE5 in next weeks Famitsu'

Now i' d love to point out that " next week" is now this week and that Famitsu is out tomorrow or Wednesday but then you might get all excited and be severely disappointed when it transpires to be nothing.

NOTE: I have my fingers crossed too.
