Who is playing/ has played Dark Cloud 2? Impressions?

I bought it yesterday, and immediately realized it was going to be a different game than I' ve ever played atleast. I' m only about 5 hours into it right now, but I can see that there is a lot of game left to go. I' m still on the fence about whether or not I like the weapon leveling system, maybe I just need to keep tweeking my wrench/pistol.

Played the first DC and could never get into it. Never had any intentions of playing DC2. Although I do like the let the game play in our kiosk at work sometimes. It' s just so cute to watch. :D

I got pissed at the first DC and decided I hated the whole series, lol. There is no reason the game should make you use that sorry ass guy with the hammer and moleskin cape.

On a side note I always hated the water drinking system...did they get rid of that in the sequel?

^haha, then you wouldn' t like the wrench weapon in DC2

Well, there are springs that you can drink from to restore your HP one time in a dungeon, but HP restoration also comes from foods like bread(and I assume you can make your own food since I saw a stove for sale at a shop)
