And Ogre Battle exclusivity goes to.... - Jan 19, 2007 16:33
...Microsoft.

Square Enix announced today that a new entry into the Ogre Battle franchise is in development exclusively for the Xbox 360. While Ogre Battle and Tactics Ogre games have appeared on several systems including the Playstation, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy Advance, this will be the first time the series will appear on a Microsoft platform.

Few details have been released regarding the plot and overall design of the game save that it will follow in the footsteps of Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, originally developed by Atlus for the Super Nintendo in 1993. Though more recent entries to the series have fallen into the category of tactical RPGs, the original game featured a battle system which combined elements of turn-based and real-time strategy games.

The as yet unnamed game will be the first new game in the Ogre Battle series in more than five years. Further details are to be announced later this month.

Looks like this was bullshit Majik, from the same website:

Video game legend Shigeru Miyamoto died this morning at his home in Sonobe, Japan. The creator of Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda series was killed while picking up the morning paper in front of his home; an eagle was flying overhead and lost its grip on a tortoise it was carrying. The tortoise landed on the back of Miyamoto' s neck, shattering one of the cervical vertabrae. Pending an autopsy report, investigators are assuming he died instantly.

Miyamoto leaves behind his wife, Yasuko, and two children. Satoru Iwata, the president and CEO of Nintendo Japan is expected to comment on the issue at an upcoming press conference in late January.

Looks like those bastards got haked or something, anyway they have some very rotten humor... Square Enix with MS??? is that twisted or what?
