...neither did FFXII......

...but yea, Okami is great, although i think Oblivion was pretty lucky to beat out GOW and FFXII for a runner-up slot...

A NeoGAF poster put together a fake press release about Konami creating ' Kojima X Productions' - a studio to focus on 360 titles, the first of which would be Metal Gears 1-3 completely remade. IGN fell for it because there was a Microsoft event in Osaka that day ad they posted not only that, but also about a second " announced" game called Metal Gear Fluid AC!D for Zune.

There was a spelling mistake in the " press release" where trilogy was spelt triology, and IGN thought the game was called Metal Gear Triology. They seriously screwed up.

Well now thats too harsh, still its not too late to pick one up, u really shouldnt miss GoW II, looks just awesome, u shouldnt miss Rogue Galaxy either...

If u buy a PS2 make sure u play MGS3: Subsistance, Shin Megami Tensei DDS and Okami aswell.

DMC(1-3)
Kingdom Hearts(1-2)
if you like shooters SOCOM(1-3)
if you like RPGs I guess the FF' s are a no brainer

I like all the Twisted Metal games. They' re very fun and they have lots of attitude.
Multiplayer is great. I remember Twisted Metal 2 on the PS1. Ah, me and my friends used to play that alot. Both co-op and versus.
Right now I have Twisted Metal Head-on for the PSP which is really fun online.
I' m not saying Twisted Metal is the best game ever but I think it' s underestimated.
I could probably make list of at least 20 must-have titles for the PS2 but... that will only make me sad for not having one

Let' s not forget ZOE2; definitely one of the greatest action games of all time. Majik, I know you' re with me on this one.

I don' t have a PS2 either but I have played my mates enough to experience the quality games on it but I might pick one up.
