I stopped caring about this game a long time back. Loved the video they had released though , riding on a donkey with a shotgun in hand .. fucking hilarious ...

Yeah but it was also announced for Gamecube. I' ll be surprised if the game ever see' s release. I mean, unless they changed the engine again to something like UE3.0 then there' s zero point in releasing it as it' ll be seen as an archaic technological misfit when sat next to newer titles.

Saying that, companies seem happy to release shoddy ports like FEAR, Far Cry, PREY and Quake 4 on 360 so i guess it' s always possible. But still, what possible excuse could 3D Realms give that would vindicate such a stupendously long dev cycle?! The game better be something super special if they' re actually going to release it or they' ll do themselves more harm than good.

They are only hiring people for the xbox 360 port, So Like allways, I dont think It will out any day soon.

I' d laugh if they just shipped the game to stores without telling anybody. Iy would the Biggest Surprise ever to see that on the shelf.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine.

Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

Greatest pun in the video game business currently is Duke Nukem Forever will take Forever to come out.

Heh, yea a secret launch on the net, becoming available for purchase deep within some viral website would grab some headlines!

It' d be such an anti-climax if it just came out the same way as any other regular game after all this time!

Oh God, time for that yearly DNF rumor.

Why can' t people accept the fact that Duke Nukem Forever is just some half completed pre alpha build that' s sitting on a disused Pentium II in a shed at the back of 3D Realms?

Duke nukem was hilarious when I was playing back in the 64k days. Everybody seems to say that his character isn' t viable anymore & that the gameplay is archaic, but... what else is new? The guy' s name is Duke Nukem for Christ' s sake!!! Can you really take that seriously?
