Capcom to release 6 games on 360 in 2007 - Dec 28, 2006 03:26

In its latest Investor Relations report, Capcom has revealed it plans to publish a total of 77 new titles across all platforms.

The report reveals that throughout 2007, Capcom expects to publish 6 new titles on the Xbox 360 and it expects them to sell 2,250,000 copies.

As soon as we learned about this number, we asked ourselves which games those six titles could be. We only counted three: Lost Planet, Resident Evil 5 and a Dead Rising sequel. What could the other three titles be?

It has been rumored that Devil May Cry 4 will only remain as a time exclusive for the PlayStation 3, landing soon after on the Xbox 360. That will give us four titles but then, what could the remaining two games be? Xbox Live Arcade games perhaps.

Marvel vs. Capcom or Capcom vs. SNK? 194X? Mega Man? Ghouls ' n Ghosts?


Lost Planet and Dead Rising 2 are obvious, but RE5 has been delayed until 2008 but could probably still be counted in the 6.

DMC4?! Monster Hunter?! An all new Megaman game?!

Lol, i bet 5 of them are retro Xboxlive games.

I would be surprised and delighted if one of them was Okami. Unfortunately I think it' s about as likely as the Atari Jaguar making a big comeback.

Capcom are probably the most consistently good developer there is, so I' m glad at how much they' re supporting the 360. Personally I hope one of them is a new Breath of Fire game.

And LOL you should stay in the Wii threads if you cant contribute.

Personally, I think they should go with a Megaman X pack, I would be willing to pay $20-30 to have all the Megaman X games on my HDD.

I bet atleast two of them will be Xboxlive games!! If one of them are ur definition of ' contribution' would be shattered.. (and theres a good chance their will be atleast one)..
