Lost Planet: The first 10 minutes - Dec 24, 2006 00:46
For those of you that can look past Gears of War

I think I am going to enjoy this game tremendously when it comes out, apparently
the Japanese release of this game has already sold 20,000 units which (for 360)
is impressive.

Anyway, graphics have vastly improved (it no longer looks grainy), the animation
has improved too.

I am mostly excited about getting in the VS' s (vital suits) as they are just... man!

For anyone looking to import this, you' ll find that there is a language setting to
put everything in English (a bit odd for a japanese release).

Hypothetical thoughts below please...

Actually, it' s not odd at all given that it' s from Capcom .. Their games tend to be alot more import friendly than others..

Now, the day that import games from Sega or From Software are import friendly will be a glorious day indeed..

Well I thought it was odd...

Actually, Dante doesn' t even speak Japanese Devil May Cry (jap Ver).

So I don' t know where I got that idea... and regarding From Software, I so BADLY
want them to stop pussyfooting around with these crappy games and think of
another spin-off (or legitimately continued) version of Otogi, I have been playing
both of them again recently and can' t put them down!!!

The first and second are among my favourite games, and I love the character
development in both.

As for Lost planet, i' ll be picking this little number up on the 8th of January
(4 days before the official EU release). It reminds me of Starship Troopers meets Gun Valkyrie and I have never even seen StarShip Troopers, but I
think it' s safe to say that it borrows a few insect traits from Gun Valkyrie (which is
an amazingly hard game mind you).
