Buy a PC My PC can play games to an extent, but I don' t like having to constantly buy new bits just so I can play the latest games, it' s too damn expensive. That and the fact that the 360 does offer some games that the PC doesn' t. That' s the reason why I find the XFPS 360 so appealling.

What resolution is your monitor, I' ll tell you how shitty this will look. 360 games have seriously annoying problems with 5:4 monitors. On my 1280x1024 monitor it displays games in 720p but stretched to fill the entire screen. And when its in 16:9 looks vertically compressed for some reason, I think it has to do with 4:3 of televisions vs. the 5:4 of monitors. The best display for the 360 remains to be a HD CRT...

I' ve played some 360 games on my monitor and some of them looked perfectly fine (like deliciously smooth fine) whilst others had big black ugly borders

This is awesome news for me!! I play 360 on my widescreen monitor, which is all hooked up to my PC too, so my mouse and keyboard is sitting right there. I actually plug my keyboard into my 360 to type messages and stuff. But I reckon playing Gears on a mouse and keyboard would be so much easier for me. Perhaps an actual advantage online?? I can never get those sniper headshots with the analog stick' s on/off design nature. I' d buy one for sure.

If the game wasnt built for M&K it wont be an advantage or better to play, .. the deadZone will still be as fast/slow as the Analog signal the game gives out, IE the Joyfrag.

Yea I suppose that on/off thing will still translate to the mouse if it wasn' t designed for it. So you' d have to move the mouse back to its original spot to stop turning or something, meh... I' m not buying one.

Fair comment, I just like the idea of having a PC with a keyboard and mouse and a console having a controller, I don' t have a controller for my PC and I am used to playing PC games like that and vice versa, I am in absolute agreement about the 360 offering games that aren' t available on the PC, or that you don' t need to have Vista for (Halo 2).

They have to emulate mouse/keyboard because it still goes through the same input as a controller. It sucks. You have wierd mouse acceleration and a maximum speed the mouse will go. There is little to no advantage in this. You still have the same limmitations people using a controller have.
