Live arcade!
-
Dec 20, 2006 18:44
After about 3 months of owning a 360, I finally one morning decided to take an interest in Live arcade and see what games were on there. Now I am so very addicted to Small Arms and Lumines Live! it' s no even funny; last night, I dreamt about Luminous falling squares for god' s sake! I love both these games and I love Live arcade (even more so with Alien Hominid and Worms HD coming to it); I honestly think it' s a great service. Your thoughts?

Has anyone tried Novadrome yet? It' s a car combat game from the carmageddon developer.

Assault Heroes is f*ckin SWEET! I was over my friends house and he played the demo for the first time, and bought it on the spot! I' m gonna get it too. Novadrome was not good. We played it for about five minutes, and then turned it off. I think I may give it another try, but I didn' t care for it, initially. And Agent Ghost is right. Geometry Wars is a great game, and very addictive.

One thing new games today lack is the replayability of the older retro games, Games like Geometry Wars with its basic graphics/sound, completely trash some other newer advanced games with its Pixel shader this and Havok engine that. Sometimes I think developers are forgetting they are making games, and just focus on the tech demo that will cost you a arm,leg and a number of your fingers just to get a rig to play the bloody thing correctly, aka Far Cry [and most likely Crysis]. Some games just never age Because their Gameplay is just great, A great game should never be a pain to play though again, should never be too easy or too hard, and should be fun. God damn, some developers could learn a few things, Thanks yikes we still have Capcom in the loop and the other older developers to keep us Excited.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine. Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

When is Sonic coming out on it? Now that I know the Wii VC version of Sonic 1 is COMPLETE SHIT i am keen to see of XBLA does a better job. Seriously, my mobile phone runs Sonic 1 better than the Wii VC does. What' s with the fucking 1/2 speed music? Pah

Adam, is Sonic 1 slower on the Wii VC than it is on a regular PAL Mega Drive? I know Sonic was slowed down on the MD because they didn' t reoptimize it for PAL, thus the music and the game itself was 17% slower. Also, Sonic 1 on the GBA sucks ass as well.

Just found the marketplace? My all time favorites are: Small Arms Assault Heroes Outpost Kaloki X Cloning Clyde (Screw everyone else, I like this game!) Games I' m gonna love: Alien Hominid Castle Crashers This just reminds me how low I am on MS points.
