Next Dragon Quest exclusive for DS

Actually, I was just wanting Quez' s reaction to this. Do you have a DS, Quez? Do you like the Dragon Quest series? If there are any other hardcore rpg fans out there (and there most assuredly are), what is your take on SquareEnix starting to favor Nintendo again?

Also, I just noticed the DS could, for a joke, be taken to stand for Death Star. I wonder why someone hasn' t used that yet.

I don' t have a DS,but it sux if some of the most famous gaming series dont end up on their own plattform with a console that can bring the true form out of it.

I own all consoles expect a wii+ps3 atm.

Im not getting the wii,cause it seems to be just another way to play games,and its a low spec machine,thus im getting a ps3.and Handhelds arnät for me.

I play games more then enough,why do i need to bring games with me when im out also?

And yes,i know i can play at home too,but i rather play with my pc or 360 then,or future ps3.

Now when i been thinking about this for awhile...
It could be so that S-E that delayed FF12 two years,and still hasn' t released it in EU yet,might have relaised that they cant do a FF game+ a DQ at the same time,thus making one plattform on Handheld,and since japanese gamers ae the ones almost only buying DQ anyway,perhaps it suited better to be released on DS and cheaper.
