PS3 Sells More Than 360 in Japan.

Oh dear its looking bad for the 360 is Japan.

wait...

XBox sold around 400.000 units in Japan.

And ps2 around 26.000.000 units in Japan.

How can this come as a suprise.

No matter how much 360 sells,it wont be near ps3 sales in Japan.

Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

Are you sure? That figure seems very high! And the fact of that matter is the PS3 which has just launched and has already sold more than the 360 in Japan.

was allways gonna happen, PS3 could have been released with no games and the japanese would still buy it. Sad as the 360 has many great games but its hurt in japan simply by being american

Lol, the 360s been freely Avable for over a year. While the Ps3 is out for month in extremely limited stock and still owns it :((

Oh, the Japanese aren' t recist, believe me, I' ve been there and they LOVE foreigners. Some did actually wrinkle their noses when they thought I was American, but once they found out I was from Europe they where as excited as bunnies on ecstasy. Point is, the 360 doesn' t sell bad simply ' cause it' s American, rather it' s because the Japanese don' t really like the same kind of games as us westerners. When the Japanese look at the 360 they will se mostly American games and therefore not want it. And I think more Japanese would buy it if there was more excellent Japan style games, like Blue Dragon.

EXACTLY! The Japanese just have a different taste in games then we have. They do not like FPS and never did which is one reason why the 360 is not selling well in Japan. Now I am not saying that the 360 only has FPS but lets be honest, it has ALOT. They LOVE RPG' s such as Final Fantasy. Untill the 360 has games that appeals to the Japanese it will never sell.

But I have also noticed that they like europeans but not americans even though I' ve never been there (I' ll go someday) because my karate club have several schools in Europe. But our founder refuses to open one in America. I' d like to ask him why but... you can' t just do it like that you know.
Anyway, the japanese seem to like sequels to all their favourite videogame franchises and since the 360' s japanese titles are often new it doesn' t make it any easier.
