First lot taken from the US OXM

* We probably will not be hearing any news about Unreal Tournament 2007 until after the PS 3 version is released.
* An official Microsoft arcade controller is on the way.
* There is a new Oblivion expansion pack in the works after Knights of the Nine.



And these from EGM

-Sticky Balls - New Katamari for Wii, PS3 and Xbox Live arcade.

-Turning War Around - Microsoft is crafting a brilliant plan to flip flop Gears and Halo every year, so expect Gears of War 2 in 2008 and a new Halo game in 2009.

-Count the COMs - three new SOCOM games are in the works. One on PSP and two on PS3.

-Mii Crossing - Mii' s will be your avatar in the next Animal Crossing. All the shirts and accessories you collect will cross over to other games.

-Hudsun is releasing a TG16 pack with 3D remakes of Bonk, Adventure Island, and Super Star Soldier for the PS2

-Rare is working on a Viva Pinata Kart racing game.

-NFL may drop EA once it' s contract expires in a few years.


Big ones there for me are the Viva racing spin off, if its anything like diddy kong racing its gonna rule! And NFL dropping EA.

Both would rule if true.

EGM rumors suck ass, really they just make up whatever they can come up with,

NFL dropping EA??? to favor who??? SONY or MS, besides them no one can give them a better deal, i would love a PS3 SOCOM, but damn, its just to hard to trust EGM.

2ksports..now they could do the nfl license justice.

Or maybe they' re dropping their exclusivity bull$hitte with EA and are gonna let various developers develop football games based on the NFL license like they should instead of getting stuck with one developer

I don' t want it to be exclusive to anyone.. The NBA was smart in that regard, they told EA where to go.

..yeah a Gears sequel being announced sooner rather than later is a definite.....

2 SOCOM games in the works for PS3?! Holy fucking shit, ...i can' t see the logic in that yet but holy fucking shit!!! SOCOM is like 2nd only to Ghost Recon. Tactical Shooter heaven for Majik this gen!!!

Yes, extremely true...EA has for lack of a better word...fucked up NFL games with the exclusivity. NFL Street...WTF? Was my only response to that. I still play Blitz the League more than Madden 2007. Though the Wii version my turn me.

Oblivion- is any one still playing that waste of time?

Sticky balls-wtf?

Halo and gears flip flop- that would kick ass

Socom- wow more waste of disk space, and another shitty sony series goin to psp

Mii crossing- *sigh*

TG 16 pack- could care less

Viva Pinata Racign- why? what did we do to rare?

EA losing NFL- its about damn time, maybe we can have a decent football game

As I recall it was a 5-year contract, so there' s three more years to it.

The graphics in Madden are only just now starting to catch up to the graphics in 2K. And 2K doesn' t have the cheap rubber-banding AI that Madden has.
