XBOX Scores First-Round Knockout of PS3 Apollo Audience and Players Give Unanimous Thumbs up to XBOX 360 over PlayStation3 at “Fight Night†Challenge on H3TV NEW YORK--Score one for the “little guy.†Microsoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) XBOX 360, which currently owns less than a 20 percent share of the mega-billion dollar video game console market, delivered a smashing upset of Sony’s (NYSE:SNE) PlayStation3 in H3Enterprises, Inc.’s (OTC:HTRE) video gaming battle at the Apollo. The PlayStation brand currently dominates the market with more than 60 percent of the consoles in use. In an unbiased side-by-side face-off on H3Enterprises, Inc.’s H3TV, the only high-definition flat screen that allows players to simultaneously compete on both gaming systems through split screen cyber television technology, XBOX 360 won a convincing victory over its highly sought after rival Playstation3. As a result of H3TV’s split screen cyber technology, the overflow crowd was able to witness both gaming consoles being played on the same 1080p monitor at the same time. Using EA Sports’ (NASDAQ:ERTS) Fight Night video game on both consoles, H3TV was able to provide the audience a clear view of the head-to-head imagery and graphics of the competing systems. Many of Harlem’s top rappers were given the opportunity to test the varied features that both consoles offer. “XBOX is flat-out better both visually and mechanically,†said H3 Enterprises, Inc.’s chief communications officer and world-class gamer, Adrian “Hollywood†Walton. “When Fight Night is played at its highest level with the highest possible resolution, everyone is able to see XBOX 360’s superiority to PS3 as clear as can be on H3TV.†A 9 month old Xbox 360 game beat down the supposedly re-vamped PS3 version?! So much for digital sweat eh! Source

Well, I always thought the PS3 versions boxers looked like chocolate glazed doughnuts. Maybe I was right. So... what exactly can Sony' s machine do? As I think that FNR3 is probably the best representation of great graphics on a console, it certainly won over my non-gamer brother when I d/loaded the demo.

One is an ingame shot (360) and the other is a promotional screenshot that has been touched up (PS3). Sorry dude, we don' t do that here. I saw the same thing the other day at the Gametrailers forums, same screens and everything. EDIT: also, the site you linked to show this as the consoles controller... ...which is waaaaaay too 2005 for my liking.

Majikdra6on but i think it' s hard to see veins or tatoo on black skin even in real world so i think this comparison is really bad. maybe you dont understand me or i dont understand You. Tiz I' am from Poland.

I am going to have to disagree with them on this one. I have played both versions on a 1080p high def tv and I think the ps3 is definatley superior to 360 graphic wise. Don' t get me wrong its not a huge leap by anymeans but the character models are easily better on ps3 and the sweat is definatley better which really aids the visuals. The knock down slow-mo replays are better as well. The way the cheaks jiggle from a hit to the jaw has a better ripple effect than on the 360. Veins are definatley more visable on the ps3 version as well and smoother animations. There are some things the 360 has better which are the way fabric moves is more realistic as well as there is slow down in create a player mode (hopefully fixed with a patch) and occasional frame rate issues during the slo mo knock down replays. I don' t think this shows superiority from the ps3 by anymeans. Remember they have had alot longer time to work on the ps3 version of FNR3 than the 360 version. The only true comparison of which system has better graphics in the Fight Night Series will come when FNR4 is released for both systems on at the same time.

Firstly the PS3 version takes twice as long to load and has severely toned down lighting and crowds. The character models in the PS3 version are more detailed with regards to visible veins and muscle definition but they had to tone everything else down. Bear in mind that the PS3 version was announced before the 360 version, and It' s been in development for 9+ months longer than the 360 version - a game that was released in March.

Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs! What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

Still want something to cut him. I hope he gets badly injured in the game.. Also, why is his voice so flippin' deep in the game? He' s like an 8 year old kid... Isn' t he? Anyone seen the new Bleach intro? F-ing awesome!

I' m not wading through all the replies yet, but I just wanted to ask how we are sure we are seeing actual superior graphics power and processing, or further tweaking and fixing by developers afterwards? I mean, honestly, unless its a new game that is being ported, games like Elder Scrolls Oblivion are being fixed further for the PS3. So is it far to compare a game on the 360 and the same game but further developed on the PS3? We wouldn' t be comparing the power of the consoles then, but rather the developmental differences between the game then and the game now.

As a result of H3TV’s split screen cyber technology, the overflow crowd was able to witness both gaming consoles being played on the same 1080p monitor at the same time. " Split-screen cyber technology" ? CYBER TECHNOLOGY? What kind of retarded " blast processing" PR nonsense is that? You mean a video compositing desk?
