What' s Shenmue?

Shenmue 2 works on the Xbox360, just tried it.

I hate how the Xbox360 can' t do pure black for Xbox games, it' s kind of a dark grey instead.

Does it run in widescreen? Haven' t trired it yet.

all xbox games running on 360 run in widescreen unless I' m mistaken.

It does not run in widescreen, however it is upscaled to 720p (what I have my 360 set at) with black bars on the sides. The in-game black bars (like for " cinema" sequences and the like) are a lot brighter than the black bars on the sides.

Very well written. Unfortunatey it' s a pipe-dream, but nevermind, i dont mind buying it being exclusive to PS3 as i' ll be buying one at launch anyway. VF5 is gonna be absolutely amazing!

I never seen the attraction of VT, plays like every other fighter to me, I don' t get all this ' thinking 20 moves ahead' stuff.

Dont get me wrong, it isn' t a bad game, I like Soul Caliber, the first one on the Dreamcast was the best, since 2 and 3 where just silly ports, not real sequels. I like Tekken, I like Dead or alive, come to think of it, Not much fighters I dont like.

...Maybe the Street Fighter 3d games makes that list [:' (]

Nice read, I agree with what you said except that making VF online would be very different than DOA. In other words, it is impossible to make it online without sacrificing everything that makes it great. Same thing with Tekken and Soul Caliber. Collision detection is a bit more complex in good fighters then it is in Fighters like DOA and the bandwidth of Broadband is not high enough to support the data that would need to be sent back and fourth constantly.

Regarding that letter. VF5 is coming to 360. Or at least this has been the unannounced plan since early 06. They just need to do the whole pretending to love PS3 at the moment. So relax...

I' ve been saying it for ages. Nobody has asked me not to. They might change their mind though so what the hell.

Hopefully he can tell us that Sega is planning a new console and that it will be black, not have a super loud laser motor, won' t break down, will have great controllers and will last. All the things the Dreamcast wasn' t.

Dreamcast had Shenmue! which I believe all other sega platforms didnt have [it was in development for the Saturn but was transfered to the DC]
