New mass effect video trailer at MP and at bioware.com tomorrow

It' s been a long time getting everything working correcty (you' d think it' d be easy taking on medium and transfering it to another, wouldn' t you?), but we' re finally ready to show the X06 demo trailer.

It will be live on both our website and on Xbox live this Friday. We don' t have the exact times yet, but I would assume mid-morning to noon BioWare (Edmonton) time would be a safe bet.

Let me explain a bit. It has to be edited from the initial X06 presentation. The original presentation took about (I think) 20 minutes per interview. But that included multiple pauses to answer questions, going back to reshow a cool element of the gameplay, and otehr stuff that happens in a live presentation that doesn' t happen on a video. You will be seeing the video that was shown at X06 almost in it' s entirety, with only a very little filler material removed.

And compression is the process of turning it from a demo on teh 360 to a video for the PC or Xbox Live. It doesn' t actually mean things get reduced in size or anything. It' s a format thing.

They missed out the vehicle combat, sniping and hacking! Fuckers!

It' s exactly the same build, exactly the same area and exactly the same " demo" but they' ve cut some stuff out - and they said they wouldn' t!!!

The framerate should get better when they start using Epics multi-threaded renderer (used in Gears) but already the game looks and runs great. I doubt they' ll make Q1 though, i' m thinging September 07 is a more realistic release date.

Man , everytime i see a Mass effect video it blows me away ... Though as majik said it is same damn area they do touch upon weapon customization and stuff .. I cant beleive how amazing this game looks ...

..is it like other RPG' s where you gradually acquire more and more members to your party? ...where by the end you' ve got 7 or 8 in your team??....

I think your party can only be a total of 3 (including yourself), but there are many characters to choose from and who you' re with changes the storyline.
