Who Needs a Sensor-Bar-I' ve Got Candles!
-
Dec 02, 2006 05:21
Substituting candles for the sensor bar. Very interesting. A friend told me he did this yesterday, and I didn' t believe him. All the sensor bar does is put out some IR, which you could in theory get from candles, I just never expected it to actually work.

In my entire lifetime, I have only experienced one power cut, and that effected the whole of central London, a month later, we experienced bombing attacks...
There are two rules to success: 1. Never tell all you know.

Imagine how they could' ve reduced production costs buy removing the sensor-bar and just add this to the instruction manual " Place some candles on top of your television set. *candles sold separately. Consult your nearest candle store for more information on candles." And then they could sell Special Wii Sensor Candles in stores. " Umm, I' d like a couple if Wii sensor candles please!"

Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs! What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

I think anythink that gives of an IR signal can be used as a Wii sensor bar substitute. Even a Christmas tree full of lights seems to do the trick, although you would need to get 2 of them other wise your gonna have problems .
