What Movies Do You Never Get Tired Of Watching?
-
Dec 02, 2006 03:11
My opinion on what makes a truly great film experience is a movie' s ability to stand up to multiple viewings over the test of time.... ....so what films do you never get tired of watching? ...which movies always manage to reveal something new about itself no matter how many times you see it?... ...for me, my current favourite is The Matrix Reloaded:- deep storyline, phenomenal martial arts, and it features possibly the two greatest set-pieces of recent times (can you guess?).. ...if it makes you want to " Rewind it back" after the end credits roll, tell us all about it!.. ...

I can ALWAYS pop in The Negotiator. Actually, I just watched it last night. It' s just an awsome movie that really pulls you in, and the action and acting are superb. Then there' s Lethal Weapon 4. I mean, how did they fit all of these movie stars in one movie, and still make it SOOO good? The people who did the Batman movies (not Batman, or Batman Begins, mind you) could learn a lesson. I also pop in every now and again: The Last Samurai Gladiator Minority Report The Incredibles The Mask of Zorro Goldmember The Chronicles of Riddick

The Boondock Saints ( I could watch that movie forever) The Last Samurai and the Star Wars Christmas Special The people who did the Batman movies (not Batman, or Batman Begins, mind you) could learn a lesson.
Oh! That reminds me, the original 60' s Batman movie! That was so awesome!

I could never get tired of Robocop. It' s one of the best movies of all time. Likewise for the first Matrix.

Wild at Heart ...that is one funny film... ....i love it when William dafoe spends about five minutes in the movie trying to get Laura Durn to say " f*ck me" , only for him to reply after she concedes:- " not now, but maybe later!"

The Transformers: The movie.. I' ve seen that movie more than 200 times since the VHS version was released back in the late 80s and I never tire of it!! When the 20th anniversary edition was released several weeks ago I watched it three times in a single day. Twice with the two types of commentaries on, and once without any commentary. I actually liked the fan commentary More than the staff/producer commentary, partly because Nelson Shin just wouldn' t shut the f*** up . Plus the fan commentary was just funnier!!

I haven' t seen that Transformer' s movie in YEARS. Hell, I think I just saw it in the theater when it came out!! I did buy it about two weeks ago, but haven' t gotten around to watching it. My friend Sergio loves that movie, so maybe I' ll invite him over to watch it on the big screen. He better not cry when Optimus Prime dies, though. I' ll kick his ass out!

Anything Hayao Miyazaki I have watched at least 5 times in each sitting. Others include: Matrix Reloaded Final Fantasy Advent Children(You can' t deny it has some of the best CG action ever experienced in a movie, story is a bit pooh)
There are two rules to success: 1. Never tell all you know.

Neds Kru feat. Wee Man The Ned is a distinctive Glaswegian version of the Chav, only scummier. This guy is a comedian who made the song from favourite Ned samples (he sings them). Awesome, here' s some translations: " Maw" - mother " burd" - girlfriend " yas" - yes " bawbag" - scrotum " Eccies/pills" - Ecstacy " gies" - give me " bolt" - run away " buckie" - Buckfast Tonic Wine and from glasgow survival (one for the tourists!) NOTE: Bad content! Don' t watch if easily offended!
