Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (Xbox 360, Capcom): 9 / 9 / 8 / 8 - (34/40)

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....I hope it is this good.

Sonic The Hedgehog (Xbox 360, Sega): 7 / 8 / 8 / 7 - (30/40)

HAHAHAHA, they must have played a flawless version. 7 would be tops for me...though I can' t stop playing it.

DOA Xtreme 2 (Xbox 360, Tecmo): 9 / 9 / 8 / 9 - (35/40)

Shows who works at Famitsu.

World Soccer Winning Eleven X (Xbox 360, Konami): 8 / 9 / 8 / 8 - (33/40)

Expected.

Prey (Xbox 360, Spike): 7 / 6 / 8 / 7 - (28/40)

Uhh...a shooter getting less then Sonic, yeah.

Oneechanbara vorteX (Xbox 360, D3): 7 / 7 / 6 / 9 - (29/40)

Never heard of it actually.

Zegapain NOT (Xbox 360, Bandai Namco): 6 / 7 / 6 / 7 - (26/40)

I am amazed it got so low.

Chikyuu Boueigun 3 (Xbox 360, D3): 8 / 8 / 7 / 9 - (32/40)

Same, never heard of it.

A Ressha de Ikou HX (Xbox 360, Artdink): 6 / 7 / 7 / 7 - (27/40)

What is with these japanese titles I haven' t heard of I need to read up more.

That' s The Earth Defense Force 3... The first two were on the PlayStation 2. Despite their flaws I thought they were good, solid budget games.

See I' ve heard of Earth Defense Force, hadn' t heard the japanese counter-part. That is one of the few games I really want to be brought over to America it looks really fun :P

Next week comes Blue Dragon review.

AKira and Sakaguchi are legends in famitsu.

The japanese gamers loved what they saw in TGS and BD was the popular games, and is atm the 2nd most wanted game by the japanese gamers.

Also remember 360 sells 1k-3k a week atm whle when BD bundle pre-order came out it sold over 100k units on just one day,yes ONE DAY.

Clearly BD was beyond whatever ms could hope for what ity was gonna be at TGS.

Quez I thought you said Famitsu is worthless. It seems to me like you are fishing for reviews you agree with and you' re ignoring the rest. You can' t have it both ways man. Either you have faith in Famitsu or you don' t.

RE: 360 Famitsu reviews. - Nov 29, 2006 07:54
What?

I always said Famitsu is crap,it sux,its not fair nor balance, they give good reviews to sony,square-enix or people they like, like Itagaki.

However, you dont doubt that Lost plabet is gonna be atlaeast a 8/10 are you?

Why im so intrested in BD review is that its being dev by some of the staff ever,+ japanese gamers have for the first time really belive 360 has a AAA killer app.

I wanna know the score for many reason.

Akira is a Legend,so is Sakaguchi, and ghamers in japan wantd BD.
They are also extremly popular by famitsu staff who always laugh and talk about other stuff in their interviews since they like each other, many gaggs are made if you read their interviews.

But at the same time Famitsu sin' t friendly to 360 at all and sniff sony' s ass constanly.

What im afriad of is that the game iwll just get for ex 8,9,9,9.

If they can give games like FF12 10,10,10,10 then BD should have all the reasons to get similiar,i havnt played the game yet,but look what the people who played it think.

2nd most wanted game,100k 360 bought on just 1 day after seeing, playing it.
You dont just buy a 360 for one rpg title,if it' s not everything you want.

It' s funny how some of uou people say 360 is dead, when for ex just 1 day a game like BD can sell out 100k 360' s.

I think 360 will lose big in Japan still, but give thjem the right titles and some cant hold their fingers back.

If you look past the flaws (camera), the games are a loads of fun...
Not to be mistakened with Jaleco' s arcade & Snes side-scrolling 2D shooter, E.D.F. (Earth Defense Force).. Sandlot' s PS2 games are a little reminiscent of those classic monster movies like Godzilla and other stuff. You battle UFOs, giant robots, mutant insects, and enormous Godzilla-like monsters through highly destructible cities. The swarms of giant mutant insects are seemingly never ending and you can unlock a variety of cool weapons to arm yourself with.. Sadly, since the first two action games and the strategy game version of it have remained in Japan, I see the Xbox 360 version remaining in Japan as well. A shame really cause the 360 version looks quite badd-ass with even cooler looking giant robots!

Supposedly. It' s already under discussion on NeoGAF and Team Xbox but the source isn' t exactly 100% viable. I guess we' ll see.

I expect that kind of score anyway, i just want to see whether the game sells more machines or whether the 300% spike in sales when the game was available for pre-order was as much as it' ll manage.

" a flawless RPG, a massive world, detailed story and slowly uncovering the truth, every characters are like living and breathing, must buy for RPG fans"

" Sakaguchi' s heart warming story being recreated in Toriyama' s world, the 3D environment shorten the distance between the player and the game' s world, being able to explore the world is a very lucky thing, the game that will get you to buy a 360" .

Ofc it get 37/40,and it was planned, let give it one 10/10 but not more since its on 360.

Ofc they had to give it high score snce Sakaguchi´+akira works on it.

But they cant give higher since its on 360.

You deserve to b shot for thinking I bought it... after receiving intel from my HMV
that with the PS3, they WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO USE MY POINTS TO GET
A DISCOUNT!!!

I then had about £200.00 worth of points to use, so I decided to PICK UP Sonic,
and not shell out an important £40.00 on it..

I noticed that Yuji Naka' s name wasn' t in the credits...

Told you so.

Anyway, those points had monetary value, you could have purchased something else. I presume (dangerous i know) that you' ll be picking up Rainbow Six: Vegas and be available for online co-op this weekend, y' know, to make amends for the whole Sonic thing??!!

6 I think is the highest. Unless you have fully played it through? I beat it last night and honestly if they can apply a patch then this game beats Kameo as best Platformer on the 360...easily.

I didn' t buy it, just rented it from Gamefly, sending it back soon. Sorta hope they apply a patch down the road though.

Yeah, the points had monetary value, y' see, they usually allow you to do that
with consoles, y' know, get a discount etc, but HMV told me that only for the
PS3 they expect you to pay full price for it.. Damn..

I completed Sonic the day I got it talk about poor, poor and poor. The best person
to play with is surprisingly Silver, it also feels like most stages were built to be
flexible around Silver..

- Whatever happened to the days of trusting Sonic Team to keep you in line on
a loop de loop??? Now, I have to cross my fingers and hope he doesn' t career
off the edge..

- What happened to the days of speed? Yes, Sonic has a few speed bits, but they
are barely controllable and feel like a completely different version of the game
as the graphics get a bit better, and it looks a lot smoother, but plays like two
giant sumos in a ring spread with melted Lurpak..

- Sonic is NOT fast in the actual stages, only when the A.I takes control of him
on a loop de loop filled with speed rollers..

- The Homing Attack is 70% reliable..

- The SuperSonic stage is THE WORST one ever, where the graphics take a
significant step back. They get you to play as:

Tails
Omega
Knuckles
Silver
Rouge
Amy
Shadow

All of which have to get the 7 Chaos Emeralds that have been scattered around
a level that is innovatively labelled " End of The World" .

- Sonic dies, and at this point you really wish the little blue critter was six feet
under, he is then brought back to life by the Emeralds and.. oh my god, a kiss
ON THE LIPS by the Princess..

WHAT THE HELL???? AAAARRRRGGGHHH!!

This game isn' t a finished game, I am pretty sure it' s going to be improved for
the PS3 version (it should), as the game feels like it' s in Alpha stage, and
shock horror, the DEMO actually plays better. It does strongly
feel like a Christmas cash-in, but enough ranting from me...

Majik, I' ll probably pick up RB6 hopefully this weekend, as I am done with Sonic
the Sh*thog, just badbadbabdbad...badbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbad...

I need to wash the horrible taste of betrayal, seeing one of my favourite
videogames characters fall slowly from grac... Sonc Team needs new
management, or they should bring back Yuji Naka!

Like he did any better

The original Sonic Adventure was the high point of Sonic' s 3D career, since then the series has been going down hard!! I say let either AM2 or the team formerly known as Amusement Vision handle the next Sonic game.. Amusement Vision' s work on F-Zero GX and Panzer Dragoon Orta gave me a great feeling about the team, despite their butchering of the Space Harrier franchise with Planet Harrier.

I don' t know I liked Sonic Adventure 2...I think after that point the series took a nose dive though. The Town parts in SA1 turned me off to it. SA2' s only problems were playing Robotnik, Tails, Rouge, and Knuckles. Seriously...though I think the final fight between Shadow and Sonic has to be the best boss fight in a 3d sonic game ever...speed mixed with danger...great battle. Why they didn' t just leave Shadow dead after SA2 I can' t say (aside from milking him until he is dead...again). The only really awesome part in Sonic the Hedgehog that involved Shadow was his ending...seriously...you never see Sonic

SPOILER

Plow through thousands of enemies obliterating them in his path.

I enjoyed Sonic Adventure 2 up until the Knuckles and Rogues scavenger hunting levels. They made me despise the rest of the game.. That' s what I loved about the individual character quests in the original Sonic Adventure, you had a choice as to which characters you played as.. Sonic Adventure 2 basically forced you to play as characters you didn' t like in order to reach one of the endings.

Panzer Dragoon Orta was the greatest showcase of the Xbox' s capabilities...gawd I loved that game when I saw it in an expo years ago! Played it 4 hours straight and completed while hogging the demo Xbox XD! And I was standing up so my feet cramped up lol!

Too bad Smilebit' s gone quiet In early reviews, they even talked about making more Panzer Dragoon games, maybe even a Saga like RPG; but after PDO, nothing...
