It is very easy to get a completely wrong impression of a game based on a demo.
A big part of the success of MotorStorm is the final slicnkess in recent builds of the game.
Also ' AAA' refers to sales expectation and performance not necessarily the quality of a game.

Do you consider a game like Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (and Subsistence) to be a AAA title or AA?
Snake eater was IMO a 9.2. Subsistence was a 9.7. The only beef i have is that the theater mode is just the FMV' s, it looks disjointed without some actual gameplay video to blend the videos together.

Very true. Some of the demo' s on XBLM aren' t as good as the retail versions of the games they represent, and just 3 months before it' s release the single player campaign in GRAW was still pretty messy. Just look how that turned out!  Is Motorstorm ALL Nevada Desert-eque, daylit dryness Adam? I hope not. Some cool weather effects could make the game much more appealing.
