PSX games I should d/l or play

Note to all: I' m free! My examinations are OVER, and I' ve been trigger-happy for some gaming!

I' m cracking open both my Xbox and PS1 from dormancy...the Xbox is more or less done. Game-wise I mean. I' m paying $15 a shot for even premium games since 360 came out...

Right now, I' m d/l lots of PS1 games for the heck of it! PSP owners aren' t going to play them in a couple of months time, so might as well go retro first!

So far on d/l list:

Great list you already vrote the games i was gonna recommend,expect ,parasite eve,vagrant story and xenogears,oh btw i still play ff9 and ff8 smetimes ^^

Broken sword 1- 2 kick ass,but i would recommend getting them for the pc >_<

well magik i don' t agree with your recommendation, most of those games were awesome (i played almost all of them) however, i don' t think he' ll go back to many of those. blody roar, bushido blade, tekken 2 or even 3 etc...

Bushido Blade and it' s sequel were 2 of the greatest Playstation games. Everybody needs to play them!

I' ve got Bloody Roar 2 already

Have FFVIII and FFIX, never fully played them finish, but I' m starting with FFVII first before going back to them.

Have Vagrant Story, personally I don' t really like it. Maybe it' s only the initial levels, but MAN are they linear. The Weapon proficiency and combo style are fun, but the pause in targeting your enemy seems too easy =/

Have Nightmare Creatures 2. Awesome graphics when I first saw it, great atmosphere. Yet again, never really finished it XD I' m not really in the mood for survival horror lately anyway...

Definitely looking to get the Oddworld stuff (just played Stranger' s Wrath on the Xbox. Best shooter I' ve ever played!)

Finished Klonoa before, fun bosses that one...

I' m against piracy also,but we' re talking about games 2 gen behind,some can' t be find in any store close to our home anymore.
And some not even in the country expect if you buy from someone and those disc is very unreliable.

So yes,im for piracy when it comes to old titles that we need to save for the future,a old game shouldnt be restrickted to be bought over internet from some other country for the double price when it can be copied for 1-5 dollars.

all of the PS1 versions are great, just don' t touch the PS2 games if your life depended on it. Made by the same folks that turned out classics like the " A Bug' s Life" game.

You seriously need to at least try Tomba though. It' s platforming at its best, & instead of having an inventory, he just eats, & regurgitates what he needs, including live animals.

Depends, I' m still going through FFVII, but I don' t want to jump straight to either FFVIII or FFIX for the next JRPG.

The problem is the amount of d/l needed for those damn 3 disc plus JRPGs!

Ever played Soul Blade? (Soul Edge in some countries) It' s a great fighting game that isn' t quite as recognised as its sequel, Soul Calibur but still well worth a play all the same.

Bushido Blade is awesome. 1 hit kills!

The reason being playing something 2D would be fun, and my GBA is dull.

Ok, you' re probably getting very, very low expectations now but I swear I loved the game. It was one of the games I had most fun with on the PS1. It' s just pure running and gunning with funny lines from Bruce Willis.

The controls are slightly different from normal action games but it really works well and is second nature after a few minutes.
Damn I love that game, gonna play it now .
Ace Combat and Time Crisis are good too.
