Gears of War - Trilogy
-
Nov 22, 2006 05:38
I claimed it was a trilogy 6 months ago. Nobody believed me. LINK Now, the situation as i understand it is that Epic own the IP but Microsoft are funding development as well as publishing the games. Basically, Epic have a get out clause written into the contract but it would cost them a significant amount. Microsoft have first refusal but obviously they would never say no to a trilogy and the way it was explained to me is that the contract for the original game was re-written to include the next two games. Like Capcom did with RE4, Epic have the option to release the games on PS3 if they want but they' d owe Microsoft a significant amount and it' s a highly unlikely situation. Now, we' re just waiting for UT2007.

Yes its true you did,but i was the one who first mentioned that,Blue dragon > ps3.
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs! What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

Yeah, I remember that, but I thought it was common knowledge. Hmm, guess I took that for granted.

Now, we' re just waiting for UT2007. If the PS3 installed base doesnt get a lot larger by time this game releases, I forsee this going to the 360(as well as PS3) just because of the ease to port from PC to 360 and vice versa.
I dont want to celebrate, I want to sell you hate.

They should make you play as a locust guy for a portion of the second one. Everybody would like that.

play as a locust guy for a portion of the second one. I think this is better,... A [i-dont-know-it-but-he-sure-looks-it]GAY locust guy who has problems with his girlfriend. And they talk about it frequently over codecs conversations.
