It' s starting! lol... PS3 CRIME!
-
Nov 17, 2006 11:45
http://www.gamespot.com/news/6161933.aspx?tag=latestnews;title;0 Hope those of you waiting in line brought at least 2 - 3 friends who are strapped! Make sure one of them brings the car to the front of the store while you' re getting ready to plunk down that hefty bit of change for the PS3. And then as you' re leaving the store with your brand new PS3, make sure your friends are guarding you from all sides -- similar to how the Secret Service men guard the President

I feel like waiting in line for a PS3 just for some action. When people start talking to me about the PS3 I' ll ask them what a PS3 is, and tell them I thought this was the line for the bathroom. It' s been so long since I' ve been in a good fight, I' m over due.

What are the odds of one of those being in Oregon my home state :) That is funny, yeah...I like how my dad put it when I was discussing those fights because of people cutting in line, he was acting like " Why would they fight?" Then I explained " What if you were waiting in line for days and some idiot cuts in front of you?" His response was funny... " That is when you pull out your pistol and shoot them." My dad jokes around so much...but seriously...I wouldn' t be surprised if someone did just that.

Its so irresponsible what sony is putting its loyal fans through. What if someone actually dies over the console, not just through robbery brawls etc, what about people dieing from exposure from braving the elements for long periods of time just so they have a chance to get there hands on the ps3. Thats just despicable. I hope this ' publicity stunt' sony is pulling through the extreme shortages (to insinuate high demand) blows up in there face BADLY. Put the blame squarely on the reason for the problem - sony. If there wasn' t a sufficient quantity to go aroundthen don' t launch the console till there is. Simple.

Went to my local walmart to see if the line was worth getting into (only for ebay resale of course), and after talking to most of the line, 80% of buyers admitted they were only buying to resell it on ebay. Ahhhhh I knew a time would come when a company like sony could finally make videogaming a hobby only the rich could enjoy. Joy.

We sold 10 here at the Target I work at and it was quite peaceful quite boring. 10 people showed up a few stragglers came in. Pretty boring actually... Heheh and i anticipated as much so thats why I had some fun while working overnight. Placing a sign saying the date has been changed to the 19th. Putting a PS3 in the entry way. I had far more devious plans but we' re not allowed out since the security systems setup overnight.

What are the odds of one of those being in Oregon my home state The knob that assaulted that guy is dang lucky he didn' t live in my area. Y' see, somebody tries to steal your PS3 at gunpoint in Detroit, and fifteen of the sixteen linewaiters pull out 9mm' s, semi-auto box-fed shotguns and police assault rifles & put the boy down. There' s something to be said for the right to carry concealed.
