That looks like the guy from Kill Bill.

Anyone guess the movie they are paying homage (ie ripping off ) too? They' re not paying homage to a movie but rather a character. ' White Lotus' appeared in loads of 70' s and 80' s Kung Fu movies, and ofcourse appeared in Kill Bill. The only Kill Bill-esque part of the ad is the black and red silhouette right at the end.

Well i may have worded my question wrong but in any event most people will associate the Master character in the advertisement to Pei mei from Kill Bill (i honestly never knew of this white lotus you describe), thats what i was getting at. Besides its obvious were Ubisoft got there inspiration for the game from, Guns, samurai swords and Yakuza - all elements in the Kill Bill movies. i mean if they used a girl in the ad then it would be a total rip off! I' d like to note that since this ad has aired on youtube it has been one of the most popular clips currently running. Talk about free advertising for Ubisoft, and it certainly helps Wii out a bundle!!
