Incredible lame of Sony not to make PS1 forwards-compatible with their future consoles. :-/

You should be able to, I don' t think Video Games are Region Locked...only consoles.

You cannot play export games on your PS1 without modding the system or using a swap disc method. I have a question: Can you play PS2 games on a PS1?

Can you play PS2 games on a PS1? Actually yes you can! Sony today revealed a new technology they have been working called " We don' t rip off time travel" where it allows the user to play games in the future on their current gen or even previous gen systems.!

You can actually get PS4 games to load up on a PS1, but the framerate suffers.

Switch the TV to 60Hz? I' m not too familiar with UK TVs but tI think the 60Hz mode is basically an NTSC mode. Someone correct me if I' m wrong. And also know that I really, really hate being wrong!
