Why can' t Rare just do a Kameo 2 and give her a blinkin' sword!!!

I hate it when they ruin a good game with crappy movies (to,b raider?), or the otherway around(terminator?). Well, kameo wasn' t the best of games, but it was fair and I would hate to see it in the pictures. Same goes for Halo. NO NO NO!

The halo movie would kick ass!

Maybe if Peter Jackson directed it... But, I' m certain it would suck. When they transform a action game, to a movie, it often contains too much shooting and killing, and not enough story. That' s what happends when you want to stay true to the original game.

Most action games dont have the large backstory like Halo. And name a good action game that was turned into a movie? I honestly cant think of any examples as I sit in class right now...

Tomb Raider? Or maybe you sort that to adventure? I look at it like a action/adventure game, and the movie contained Angelina Jolie in tight costumes and guns blazing, nothing more. And Doom? That movie is one of the worst piece of crap I' ve seen this year. Good in the beggining though.

Resident Evil? But those movies are good, exept the ending of the second one...

I' m certain I forgot some now.

Grrrr, I overlooked the DOOM movie for a reason: I wanted to forget it ever existed. As for RE its more survival horror, and I dont really care for TR. But DOOM doesnt really have a story, or at least not many memorable characters and events.

Exactly, and when they stay true to the game in the pictures, it has the same results. Great action, no story, and it doesn' t work as well as in games when it comes to pictures.

Maybe they' re trying to recoup what money they can by reusing the character models and making a CG movie...

Ah crap...

On another hand, Beyond Good and Evil would make a cool 3D animated movie....

So few movies ever made good, stand-alone games...Chronicles of Riddick being the exception (and that' s really from having a good game studio. Starbreeze' s The Darkness looks just as promising).

I must say i am really looking forward to this, i was really surprised at how good the story was.

It would be best if they did a CG or cartoon because a live action would be too stupid.

A Kameo movie would suck. I don' t care what anybody says. I' m usually ready & willing to listen to their opinions, but a Kameo movie would suck. Not to mention what would come after that could be terrible. A rushed movie tie-in sequel? Bad, bad news for Rare.[:' (]
