I only ever played mario party 1, and while I did enjoy it, It put me through the most frustrating gaming experience I ever had.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine. Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

Yeah, I agree on that. Although, I think the Mario Party series are getting better and better. My favorite is Mario Party 6. Mario Party 7 was the same thing, but with boring minigames.

Mario Party= Mario Party 2-3= Mario Party 4-7= Mario Party 8= They used to keep me busy, but there' s just nothing new about them. Some game formulas can remain the same over the years, but board games need to change it up a bit.

I hope with the innovation of the Wii that Mario Party can finally fix the worst thing it had going for it...slow gameplay! After #2 it seemed like the game got slower and slower. I hope 8 is a lot better.

I think this one will be something new. Would be fun to play with friends, when they make use of the Wii sensitivity... Although, you might get a punch or two...

All the GC Mario Party' s have the same graphics and gameplay. The only diffrance is the maps and minigames, but they are all the same anyway. I might pick Mario Party 8 up, but that' s it. One Mario Party for one system, you won' t need them all. But it' s very clever of Nintendo to create all this game. Nintendo fanatics will buy them, and the cost to develop the games will be very low, since it' s generaly the same thing.
