If they can get back the legions of bummed out fans, when they finally realise it' ll look nothing like the trailer. It had still better be cool though, because I' m a fan of the first.

Seriously, after seeing Gears of War I think they can probably make a game similar to the Killzone PS3 trailer. The only thing in the Killzone trailer that looks better than Gears is the animation, and that looked good because it was all pre-rendered.

I' m not so sure. Yeah, GoW is one of the most gorgeous games out there now, and I' ve got no doubts they' ll be able to make something close to the Killzone trailer, but certain things like poly counts on the environments do tend to stick out more in GoW.

Of course, that' s nothing against Gears, I' m pitting it against a freaking CGI video that was made with the intent of making it a little under perfect, just so people could think it was plausible, but still, I think it' s gonna be a while before we hit that benchmark.

Damn! I knew it was the PSP version, but I still entered...

I' m not even sure we will be seeing games like that killzone pre-rendered vid we saw back then this gen or next. Not even in 10 years. I' m thinking that cgi video must have cost the same amount it costs to make an actual game today.

I think it' s impossible to have a game like that video anyway, the closest thing is gears of war and call of duty 3, but in killzone I look at the amount of things happeing on screen at the same time, and the enemies and your allies doing seperate things (imagine the AI)and I think, yeah right! not gonna happen this generatation or next. It' s not so much graphics I' m talking about but AI.

what is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of their women!

AIiwise we won' t see anything like the Killzone 2 trailer but graphics wise, I
think it' s achieveable...

figures... all the cool psp games come out right after I trade it for a DS lite. No regrets though. I just wish Marvel Ultimate Alliance was coming out on the DS instead of Gameboy advance .

yeah right! not gonna happen this generatation or next.

graphic wise there is a good chance that it will hapen this generation, if not then it' s definitly the next for sure. look at crysis which will be eleased in few months, now imagine what will happen in 5 or 6 years heck even 10 years (since you say the next gen consles...)

Blegh for taking a good formula, and trying to make it tough. Jak & Daxter, PoP, Sonic. Simple fun gameplay FTW!

I really wouldnt care. Id rather play a classic mario game than Jak & Daxter, of course then again i think id rather watch grass grow than play another Jak & Daxter game

ok i just got my hand on killzone and it looks GREAT, the sound is awesome but the control is a bit tricky, i get confused sometimes , but i' m sure it' s just a matter of time before i get used to it... i just finished the first level. you' ll have my full impressions another day.

Well i think the way Sony not talking about Killzone may mean a huge surprise.And that can mean 2 things:

1-The game will kick @$$ and they want to surprise gamers.

OR

2-The game is %$#^ and so they want people to forget about it.

I hope its the first one though.

Lol! they are probably just waiting till the Devs has something that could in the first screens look remotely like the trailer they showed us!

A.K.A pull a Motorstorm??

Maybe they are waiting for Halo 3, and then they will set the bar with Killzone
2 in terms of Graphics and gameplay..
