GR:AW takes GOTY award!

This is something else i predicted; Ghost Recon: Advanced warfighter has taken the Game of the Year award.

I hope the game gets ported to PS3, and even Wii because i honestly thing everybody needs to play this game!

GRAW is game of the year.. wow..

There are two rules to success:

1. Never tell all you know.

I sure don' t think this game is deserving of any game of the year awards. I have tried and tried and I just can' t play it for more than 5 or 10 minutes.

It isn' t my type of game either.

It never was my type either, but the fact is the game was designed amazingly. The graphics/animations and general feel of the game make it GOTY material.

Ill say it deserves the title, next to oblivion its truly a great game! I think ill complete the campaign on hard one day when i have time :P

Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

C' mon, it was staring you right in the face...

There are two rules to success:

I' m half way through the PC version and i' m loving it. The 360 and PC versions are extremely different and it' s more than just the perspective. It' s a completely different experience and i' m finding some stuff insanely cool

The 360 version looks better graphically and is a lot more cinematic, but the PC version has way cooler physics, realistic damage modelling and is 500% more tactical.

It' s impossible to get through even the first two levels without using the crosscom and satellite. One shot can kill you and the pace is a LOT slower as you need to keep stopping, accessing the satellite map, moving you men from cover to cover while telling them what direction they need to face in by manually selecting they cone of vision.

You also can' t ressurrect dead friendlies like in the 360 version. When your men bite the bullet they' re dust. This is probably a game that VX would like!

It' s less " next gen" but it wipes the floor with the majority of tactical shooters out there. If your PC can run it and it' s your kind of game then you should check it out.

NOTE: like the 360 version, you shouldn' t get your impressions from the demo. Both versions of the game are far better than the demo' s that are available, the PC version especially!
