For me, this game has now taken over the metal gear solid series!!! (this is my opinion)

Unless the story is interesting SC will never beat MGS .. Even though the stories in MGs games are over the top , i enjoy them and even though the sc stories are realistic it bores me ... But the story for DA looks to be interesting ... Cant wait to get my greedy little hands on it ...

I also think the story in MGS are more intresting,but i have more fun when being Sam because im more into a realistic game.

And for ex,its more intresting to see how you gonna infiltrate a CIA headquarter late at night when people are leaving it,then to go into some nuclear terrorist militar base etc.

Somehow the over the top japaneese bullshit thats in MGS destroys most of what makes the game fun. Clones and the dead coming back to life and bla bla bla.

I remember playing the first Splinter Cell (which doesnt feature any silly mechs, which wouldnt really be an effective weapon anyway)i was vowed by the story, and i thought, this thing here, this could actually happen, or rather, its actually going to happen sometime.

I like to play games, not really watch them, unless it' s an RPG.

Playing through MGS, i thought at times, why even put controls in the game i could just watch it as a long long movie.

i guess some might be inclined to like the story in MGS better, some people think AC was a good movie, or that Ghost in a Shell 2 was a good movie.

Pretty moving pictures, but no substance at all. The original Ghost in the Shell is still the greatest anime ever made and the story kicks ass.

The biggest problem though is the huge difference in culture and the fact that many things can' t be translated 1:1
