Majik , now you' re saying those pics, that PGR developers showed before the game release, aren' t the real deal when you play?? well i remember i asked a whole bunch of people in this forum and you were among them, and you saif yes definitly ... remember when bizzare showed those building and cars that looked so fucking real and i was asking after the xbox360 , DO THOSE BUILDING LOOK LIKE THAT IN THE GAME , bunsh of you said YES! and if you still say yes then how could forza2 with this pic (i see only one which is the subaru and it' s more like gran turismo 4) walk all over PGR3, tell me how! how !
I was never present for any PGR3 discussions here. In fact, i did see them but hadn' t joined at that point.
But if i go to IGN, and grab some of the first screens released, way back in June last year...
...and then you ask me whether PGR3 looks like that ingame, and i say no.
These screens, just like the GT-HD ones
are taken from the developers version of the retail release' s photo mode. The photo mode in PGR3 adds 16x AA so the entire scene, totally removing any aliasing, and it ups the resolution of the image.
The screens of GT-HD you posted a link to have been taken the same way. I' m not saying it' ll look bad, though i do think that the non-prologue part will look much less impressive. The game will obviously look nice, but it also can' t be compared to PGR3, it will have to be compared to PGR4.
As for Forza 2, the photograph showing the damaged Ferrari looks awesome, but the one with the Subaru look pretty bad. Until we get direct feed 720p screenshots we can' t compare them to anything properly. What we can do is look at the differences between the car model, and the Forza 2 Ferrari appears to look much nicer than the same car in PGR3.
