Who do you think they should choose to be superman in the new superman movie?
Supposedly there are 6 people auditioning for the part. Some of those trying out are Jake Gylenhall (spelling I know) and even Ashton Kutcher.

The guy who plays superman on Smallville would be good I think but the company will not choose him because they do not want to connect their TV and movie company/campaign/whatever

i heard that the guy on Smallville does not like Superman. He said that in a early interview that he would never put on the tights because that would be too corny. i think that Jake G (i can not spell his last name) got the part Superman and that it is final. I THINK that that guy Jake is too small for the part. i can not think of a person to play Superman but Jake would not be one of my choices. maybe like a actor who never really got famous to play the part of superman. Like kevin sorbo (Herclus)or someone like that. i am not a big superman fan so anybody i say might be a bad choice but Batman has that guy from Equalibrum so i am happy.

I remember rumors years ago that nicolas cage was going to play superman, now THAT would be weird.

Anyway, I' m more excited for a new batman movie than a superman movie

Isn' t his name something like Tom Welling? After watching Season 1 of Smallville he would have definitely been my choice. Season 2 as well. But after the Season 3 Finale, if he were picked to be Superman I' d probably wanna punch him in the forehead.

Dean Cain would have made a great choice I agree! He' s already got lots of experience.

Jake G is a Toby MacGuire rip off. I think he and Toby were both manufactured at the same 3rd world plant (they are responsible for making all of the black-haired goofy-lookin' people of the world). He is in The Day After Tomorrow and he gets cold a lot in the movie because he is a wimp. His sister is supposedly hot, but I just don' t see it.
