You can really tell it' s looking great there... I would love to see a clearer longer gameplay video for DMC4 though... Put my mind at rest as to the quality of the game, I like that fire boss/enemy he was fighting.. This party' s getting crayzeh!!

...yeah i was going to say that Capcom appear to be really trying hard to reclaim their action-adventure crown.... ....DMC4 looks like it' s gonna give the Ninja Gaiden franchise a serious run for it' s money this gen... ..although i still believe TN to be a technically superior developer to Capcom... ..i really hope we get to see some Ninja Gaiden ∑ videos to compare..

ORIGINAL: QuezcatoL WHat do you mean by those? And gj so far with this thread. That' s the percentage the games are complete. If it' s 50% for example then the game is only half way through development. Sony have also dropped the core PS3 price by $100 and added HDMI to it, but only in JAPAN! They better have something tomorrow otherwise they' re fucking screwed!

Sony on GTHD... Available this winter, exclusively on PLAYSTATION®3, Gran Turismo™ HD serves as a glimpse into the evolution of the franchise and provides gamers with two types of game modes that offer an unparalleled racing experience suited for the next-generation of gaming. In Gran Turismo HD, gamers will have access to GT HD Premium and GT HD Classic. GT HD Premium features cars and tracks like never before in full high definition quality. GT HD Classic features unique online gameplay that not only provides head-to-head racing, but allows for the long awaited feature of additional cars (ranging up to 770 car models) and tracks (up to 51) available through ongoing downloads. During gameplay in Gran Turismo HD, players have the ability to manage race regulations, online competition and communities, as well as organize race events. With unlimited network gameplay and dowloadable content, Gran Turismo HD opens doors for further opportunities of online entertainment on PLAYSTATION 3. With the availability and range of cars and tracks featured in Gran Turismo HD, this " Pure Driving Simulator" encourages and enables players to create their own " World of GT. So the rumours the other day about having to download tracks and cars look to be true. So we' ll be paying for them then will we?

You act like kid...Sony is smart, they know what are they doing,if they want like that it will be like that, you cant change it because it isnt you who is deciding about it. The only thing you can do now is wait for European release of Playstation 3,as I will. Then we will see what surprise Sony has prepared for us europeans...

Sony doesnt deserve to win, if they do its because of stupidity and ignorance on behalf of the consumers not realizing when they are being pissed on

Sony have also dropped the core PS3 price by $100 and added HDMI to it, but only in JAPAN! WOW does it mean it will be 399 with HDMI,20GB HDD and BD? That would actually be awesome.Shit if they do something like that in EU or US... 7:22: A question on why HDMI only is in the high level version of the PS3 only. Kutaragi explains that sony was worried that if they put the HDMI in the lower version, some would complain about having to pay for something they don' t want. However, HDMI penetration has come faster than expected. He then asks people if they want HDMI in all models. Everyone in the audience says yes. He then confirms that all models, including the 20 gig version, will have an HDMI port. From what we can tell, this is only for Japan. You' ll have to wait for overseas confirmation to see if this applies in your territory as well. 7:25: Now a question on the price. Kutaragi says the Japanese media and retailers have complained about the cost of the system. He then confirms that the price for the 20 gig model in Japan will, including tax, now be below 50,000 yen. This model will include the HDMI port. He doesn' t give the exact price. from IGN It wouldn' t make sense to make 3 models of PS3 therefore it' s pretty obvious that both version will have HDMI in all teritories and all will probably receive a price drop. TGS is a japanese event after all so I wouldn' t be bitching just yet.

Ken also said he didn' t see why Americans thought the price was too high. I wouldn' t expect a price drop outside of Japan.

Epic say that developing for PS3 takes 5 times as long and costs 5 times as much... But he did comment specifically on how difficult it is to program for multi-core processors and the even more complex Cell chip used in the PlayStation 3. He noted that it " takes about twice the effort and development cost to develop for a multi-threaded CPU" , compared to a single-core CPU. Even more than that, according to Epic' s analysis, fully exploiting the PS3 Cell chip " required about 5 times as much cost and development time than single-core." LINKY

In fact, he was very positive on Sony' s open attitude to networked content compared to the Xbox 360 - he commented of Microsoft' s platform: " Unfortunately it' s more of a closed platform," and even noted that Microsoft seems to be " quite negative toward user-created content" under certain circumstances Epic has encountered. that' s nice - modding scene on consoles.

It' s a start. Microsoft is allowing user developed XNA games to be launched from 360 though which is also a start. I' m not sure whether they' ll get to fully fledged mods or user created maps on either console but i' d be surprised if one did and the other didn' t.

Ok, after some deliberetion i' m sold on Lair. There are some minor things that bother me but overall it looks gorgeous and i definately want to play it. Factor 5 appear to have pulled through, just as Gangsta and i said they would. Nobody has mentioned Heavely Sword because the trailer is from E3.

With LAIR, I think it all depends on the gameplay. If looks okay, but it might become a must-have if the gameplay is new and refreshing. ORIGINAL: Bishonen ..i really hope we get to see some Ninja Gaiden ∑ videos to compare.. Ninja Gaiden ∑ trailer ...and, yes, I just posted this in another thread, too. So SUE me!!
