NG looks like a polished version of the original game. It' s not jumping out as Next Gen to me...

Especially if you' re already playing NGB in 720p.

Well, I think it' s great for all the people who will have a PS3 and haven' t played any version of it yet. It DOES look as good as DMC4, which is next gen, so I think it' s just a matter of the original NG being ahead of it' s time, visually.

Jack Bauer > Ninja Gaiden 2...
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine.

Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

Jack bauer sucks,NG2 ftw!!!
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

Well it' s a port of NGB but they' re claiming it' s being re-made from the ground up.

Since Xbox had a GeForce 3 and PS3 has RSX, both NVIDIA cards, then it' s more than likely they' re using the exact engine NGB runs on and simply pumping everything up.

Not that it matters though, it' s still going to be awesome, even if it isn' t Itagki making it.

I can' t imagine Itagaki being directly involved with this. It was probably passed off to some second tier team, since he' s busy working on DOAX2, Code Chronos, and NG2 (Whew!). I do hope however that he remedies some of the outstanding issues with the first NG, mainly: 1_ The set design was bland at places
2_ You don' t need that many weapons
3_ I hated some of the level design for the same reason as in Tomb Raider, which is that every corridor leads to a second corridor with many doors, some of which lead into rooms with more doors, etc.... I really hope that gets ironed out.
