TGS is for Sony

Now that Nintendo done their thing with the Wii launch dates and priceing. Its old News.

M$ has the x06 thing to do sometime next month, and since they are hated in Japan they wont have a big presense.

So this years Tgs is all about Sony. And with only 4 days to go. We better hope we get some Sony-Lovin-Goodness!

I think LO could be the game of the show.

Sony is desperate to have a great show now.I think they might deliver.

Its crucial for Sony to have a good show at TGS, and MS knows that, so they will want to do everything they can to overshadow Sony' s efforts! Now with their own x06, its hard to tell what they will come up with! But showings of LO and BD are for sure! maybe even the Tri-Ace.

Some more Halo would be sweet, but´t hey are probably saving that for X06

If M$ show all their good stuff at Tgs they risk being overshadowed by Sony and then haveing nothing great for x06 or just play it safe and wait till x06.


I am sure they will try to generate some hype, but with 27 playable ps3 games, mgs4, ff13 and that new unannoced launch game and lods of other stuff. They need something good. a playable version of Halo 3 is the only thing I think of.

TGS starts on the 22nd of September...

There are two rules to success:

1. Never tell all you know.

Sony will ahev a HUGE presence at TGS, that' s a given, but i definately wouldn' t write Nintendo and Microsoft off -- especially Nintendo.

E306 was supposed to be " all about Sony" and yet they ended up a laughing stock instead. They need to put on a great showing at TGS otherwise developers and publishers will start to back away from them.

Microsoft will be looking to stay in the picture and Nintendo & Sony will be battling it out for supremecy. If i had to bet who would come out ahead, i' d go with Nintendo.

I do however expect Sony to piss Xbox fanboys off by announcing that they have secured several massive exclusives, whether timed or fully fledged. One or two people who weren' t planning on buying PS3 will be given a reason to do so.

Well by my watch Tgs starts on the 21..

Microsoft' s pre-TGS conference is on the 20th.

TGS is going to be very interesting...I heard that Sony will present a new IP that we have not heard of...I wonder what will it look like.

Hope that Nintendo presents us with more info on upcoming games!!! (which is difficult since the Big N usually doesn' t make appearences at TGS---Used to have Spaceworld you see)

Spaceworld was only ever for MASSIVE hardware announcements. That last one was what, in 2000?!

However, since Nintendo won' t atually be at TGS (themselves -- the console and 3rd party games will) it' s highly likely that there will be a Spaceworld 2006. I mean, Perrin Perrin did say there was one announcement left.

I wanted to but it was going to cost too much. I went to Greece instead (which sucked). I would have had to take time off Uni in my first proper week back, ...not that i' d actually care about that, i just can' t really afford another trip, especially with me going to Canada for Christmas.
