Aba? Xbox360 in US cost 299-399 USD Xbox360 in EU cost 299-399 EURO Ps3 in US gonna cost 499-599 USD Ps3 in EU gonna cost 499-599 EURO You starting to see a pattern? The reason is,the currency is flowing, right now Euro is more worth then Dollar, but at the clinton era, when for ex 1 dollar was 10-11 swedish " KRONOR" it was more then EURO. But they can' t take that in mind, perhaps nexty year EURO is worth less then USD.

Yes,for ex 600 euro = 800$ and you could think that they would atleast take that into account. But they know that the first wii consoles will sell out immidately in Europe no matter what price. And tbh 250 euro is not " so" much. Ofc you could say -" current gen hardware" but it' s not, look at mario galaxy for ex. And remembver it has a dvd player in it. And the control will really make a diffrence.

Don' t the European nations have huge tax built in to there prices too? In North American we pay taxes AFTER the sticker price (if we pay taxes at all) so I' m paying 249 plus 13% = 282. If this is the case, the prices aren' t too far off. Edit* I' m actually from Canada, and we' ll likely pay 299. Conversion factors put it at 275, so you' re not the only ones paying a little extra. ** double edit ** Here' s the link from Nintendo.ca Apparently us Canadians are getting it for 279. That' s 120 bucks cheaper than a core 360. Thats much more on par with what I was hoping. Yay for Canadians.
