Wireless HDMI

Sounds great - it' s in the works now and it shouldn' t be out this year , but for people using projectors and " untypical setups" it' s a great thing. For data transfer it uses UltraWideband technology - which gives you a stable connection for as far as 10m without interference with phones, microwaves and shit. The receiver in your TV gets HD data compressed in jpeg 2000 format and after decompressing it , forwards it to your TV.

This will probably cost losts more than a simple HDMI cable. And HDMI cables currently cost more than the state of Colorado.

trust me - you don' t wanna see the picter 7$ HDMI provides. I think people should just realise that getting good cable is just as important as getting a good TV. 100$? for a 3000$ TV? that' s not a lot for seeing the best picture your 3000$ (and you payed for that quality) can give you.

I have $20 HDMI cables and the picture is perfect. Expensive cables are a scam. Only a retard buys $100 cables.

I will agree with your last sentence. Anyway the signal is digital. It is either there or it isn' t.
