Our lovely film critic over at Kikizo Movies, Jennie Kong, (oh, and the infamous John Gold as well) has got some great previews of what' s coming this summer. There might be some new information that you missed if you' ve been following the progress of these films... anyway, here' s an initial list:

Charlie' s Angels: Full Throttle

This was the first thing Jennie did cos she loves Charlie' s Angels - this film surely can' t turn out that bad, what with three hot chicks. The first one was enjoyable...

The Matrix: Reloaded

This looks simply awesome. Anyone who' s seen the trailers knows that... did you all see the Superbowl trailer for this? And apparently there' s a Japanese version of this trailer with even more cool stuff. This will be simply awesome... and what makes The Matrix even cooler is the fact that its ALL TRUE!

Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines

Totally mixed opinions about this... the first two films ranks as some of my fave films ever, but some have said this third trailer looks pants... I say, how can you be sure, based on a trailer that, at the end of that day, is not a bad trailer? They could show off more in the trailer, but then they' d be giving away all the best features of this movie. There' s some cool stuff so far, and although the director is most famous for U-571 (which I thought was very poor), you can' t write this off. Either way, as a fan of T, I' m really, really looking forward this this...

Finding Nemo

If it' s half as good as Monsters Inc, it' ll be a great film, IMO.

X2 (X-Men 2)

I thought the first film was slightly overrated, but this should be cool if first impressions are anything to go by...

I am thouroughly dissappointed in you Adam!

Charlies Angels !! I thaught you had overcome your terrible affliction of liking Drew ' Im a Pig' s scrotum' Barrymore ! .. [:' (]

Filth .. Absolute Filth !

Really? I thought you boys would love Charlie' s Angels, especially as Diaz, Barrymore and Liu are all so sexy in it?

MMM... my girlie friends and i all really enjoyed it - maybe it' s aimed at girls instead of being a film with lots of gratuitous babe shots just for the guys!

The first one was a lot of fun, for sure.

The big film for me are obviously Matrix sequels... i' m really unsure about T3. No Cameron, no Hamilton, no Furlong and no Biehn. It' s just not Terminator. Considering the last two chapters' screenplay and direction was in my eyes so reliant on those people. Robert Patrick was so concise as the enemy that I' m not really sure whether a female terminator will have the same impact.

Other films I' m looking to include:
25th Hour
LOTR 3
Kill Bill
The last samurai
The Hunted
Seabiscuit
X2
Confessions of a dangerous mind

I' m looking forward to T3, X-2, and Matrix Reloaded mainly. I also can' t wait for Kill Bill when one of my fav directors comes out of hiding finally.

BTW jennie: What is " The Last Samurai" ? I' ve heard nothing about this movie, care to enlighten me please?

Last Samurai does look good, and starring Tom Cruise it should be the business. Its still in production though so still some way off yet.
For martial arts action Kill Bill should be awesome, amazing trailer and Uma Thurman doing stunts I never even realised she was capable of.
Of course I' m a major Matrix fan so I' ll blag a screening to that and there' s a screening of a new Jet Li film on Mondy with rapper dmx. Don' t know anything about it yet though?
Oh and not forgetting Bad Boys 2, should be a laugh!

Went to the press screening of a new film starring Jet Li and DMX. Its called Cradle 2 the Grave, nothing special buy a fun ride. Think Exit Wounds but slightly better. I' m sure fans will love it and it it still no:1 in the US.

Curious, but not expecting much out of: Hulk, T3, Pirates of the Caribbean

Giddy as a schoolgirl to see: X2, both Matrix movies

Would sell my soul to see: Return of the King
