Lost Planet is an eye-candy...did you guys tried the demo that was added from OXBM(OfficialXbox Magazine) like couple month ago, the demo let you tried out two different level one was destroying giant bugs and the 2nd was fighting humen pirates, plus you can ride robotic mechs, and the weapon is sweet, Pistol/shotgun/gatling-gun/assult-rifle/sniper-rifle/plasma-rifle/hand-grenade, playing Lost Planet was like playing Resident Evil 4, the visual and gameplay is breathtaking, the demo really crave me for more, this game is a must buy.

crackdown looks terrible imo (I' ve seen 720p ign movies ) I already hate this game - and lost planet sure has it' s moments of beuty , but that picture doesn' t show one of them - this new trailer totally kicks ass.

I also hate Crackdown,it looks crap.
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

If the physics they' re showing in the explosions are as realistic as they' re showing us, I' d look into Crackdown, but the art really isn' t my style. Too colorful to be all that intense/gritty in my opinion. I' ll give it a chance because of the the physics/nice effects but even demo' s are too early to judge (anyone remember destructable boxes and better environmental interaction in CoD:2? I sure do. only in the demo level baby.

I' d look into crackdown aswelltoo again like you said the art ain' t my style either that said I think I would get it just to see what the areas are like and this powering up stuff. However I don' t expect it to be huge or anything. As for lost planet it is quite stunning I like the cutscene with that russian woman. It' s a god thing it' s coming january instead cos I think it might have been one of the good games left on the shelf cos people won' t know what to get.
