I don' t see why MS keep that core bundle around... most people want the full version and if it was to have that cheaper angel to it, they don' t have to worry so much now with ps3 ranking in with a higher price tag. Maybe a hd-dvd sku would be nicer...

The core bundles are cheaper for MS to make, there are still some people who want them so i can' t see them getting rid of them. One thing I think they should do is make the DVD tray on the core bundle crome as well.

You are right. That' s like $20 or so. Hopefully there will be a real drop before PS3' s launch and some serious bundles (Gears, Forza 2 etc).

Eh, it was only the core system anyway... If i can ever aford a 360 too, man it' ll have alan wake as my first game (if it turns out any good) - :Looks bitterly at MS for taking my sweet game away exclusively:

I could' ve waited a week and a half, and saved $20 bucks, but I think it was worth it. You think there' s going to be more gradual price drops like this, as oppposed to hundred dollar price drops every year? Edit: Scratch that, I didn' t realise it was just the core, I got premium.
