360 web cam is quite nice.

Well I got to help my friend who tested out the web cam yesterday. He has one for me as well. I just have to go pick it up from him. It' s pretty high quality for a webcam. It has several video filters and stuff. It' s also got some other features that I' ll tell you guys about later. Strangely enough this thing seems like it was built for virtual porn. I' ll explain later.

I don' t think it' ll be that big.. A lot of people have slim tv' s and a huge camera would just all off... or crush the tv, depending on how huge it really is.

Seriously though, they may say something next week, but i don' t think it' s as big as great as it' s being made out to be. It has shown some cool stuff, like the regular cups to interface with the onscreen image, and the card game thing... but it' s still just a camera, like you can use on your pc

Yeaj the Vision Live Camera looks awesome. The whole facemapping thing for games like Rainbow Six: Vegas should be a blast but the videochat still image capture, video capture etc will be where it shines.

The gesture recognition technology looks cool and it can be used just as Eye Toy to play games with but i didn' t like Eye Toy and i doubt i' ll play any camera specific games with it.

The Digimask technology went down very well at E3 too and looks like it works well...







The cameras specs are great for what it' s expected to go for ($39.99 packaged with a game called TotemBall) and the video chat looks really well done. Check it out...

Mikay, that article was written around the time of the 360' s launch. It' s old and well before Sony had given any actual details. The camera itself was shown off at GDC and E3 so those are the articles your looking for.

I' d expect high resolution still photo' s and 480p video. If it' s higher then i' d be very suprised but it' d also be very welcome.

I have it now and have been playing around with it. It' s a cool little camera. Uno is the only game that it works with right now and thankfulyy it comes free with the package. I would never waste my money on that game.

My favorite feature of the camera is that when plugged in you are reflected (transparently) on your 360' s background (only when in the dashboard). It' s motion sensitive so when you move it causes the screen to have a ripple effecgt where the motion is.

I' ll write up a review for Kikizo by tonight.

Actually most of the people that work at MS are always trying to get their hands on other consoles. When I was haning out with the MS guys on the 360 Community bus half the time we were discussing games from other consoles. Most of them are big Sega and Nintendo fans.
