My Nintendo DS Help! - Aug 20, 2006 06:19
Alright guys, after a trip back to reality (straight from leaving full-time work)
I have had the time to increase playing games.

Now, at first I bought a PSP and a Nintendo DS thinking that I would play them all
the while at work, which at first I did, but now, I really can' t be bothered.

Lo and behold, my brother walks in playing my DS.. I asked him what game is
he playing? He said, the " NEW Super Mario Bros." I saw it on TV and
thought it looked like fun, but never bothered to try it, so I asked him to have a
go...

" In exchange, can I start a file on Oblivion?"

...he says... I gave him the go ahead and promptly snatched the Dual Screen from
his hands, with his hands still attached to it (he told me it was THAT addictive).

So I start playing Mario (don' t worry Gangsta!), the game is sheer perfection, and
is sooo much fun, way better than all the Naruto crap my brother was churning out
for this little gem of delights. The game' s fun factor was so strong, that at the end
of the month I' ll be buying a spanking new DS Lite - not because I want the newer
version, but my 2 screens on my DS are nearly falling apart.

Sitting now, I am even playing the game.

Now I need help..

After deciding which handheld I was gonna support more than the other, I decided
to throw the PSP over my shoulder and put it behind me.

The DS has a lot more developer support, and fun factor, and I don' t really care
about good graphics when it' s on an itsy-bitsy screen.

Can someone point me in the right direction of DS games PLEASE??!!!

Not standard ones, the best titles on it.

Rant over..

Of my games, the one i have most enjoyed is Aria (gba) and dawn (ds) of sorrow. Going throught dawn a second time on hard, and a third time (at the same time as second) as julius. With portrait of ruin on the way heading for a best in series from ign - it' s all about castlevania.

Sonic rush is good, but I sometimes find it annoying, for me it never got better than Megadrive, for sonic.

I' ll start with games that you will have enourmous amount of fun with no matter what your preferences are.

1.Mario Kart (especially since your brother owns a DS) - You will love the multiplayer here - I swear :)

2.Trauma Center - Playing is believing - noone can tell just how cool it is to play this stupid sounding game.

3.Yoshi' s Touch and Go! - they say it' s a demo that made it into retail , but this game is just like the first crazy taxi - you' ll be addicted to getting a better score.

4.Brain Age - (it' s weird when they ask you what you had for dinner or shit like that) it is fuckin outstanding and you see how it influences your focus and memory.

5.Meteos - It' s just awesome and has amazing production values.

One of these should make for a grea start - remember that having a DS without mario kart is like playing your 360 on Quez' s new TV (SD) :)

I think your first problem is that you bought a Ds.

I suggest Fire, its solves Everything!
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine.

Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

Be sure to stop by a Woolworths and pick up Phoenix Wright and Tony Hawks American Wasteland for £26 altogether. Then hunt down Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time for cheap.

Did I mention that Castlevania: Dawn of sorrow even features the theme " Bloody Tears" in Julius Mode, once you have the the game, also it' s available in the unlocked sound test. Worth the price of the game for that tune alone.

it really is reaching people who didn' t play games before - it' s amazing that all this Blue Ocean Strategy talk has been turned into action and with great results.

Another faggy color.

Something is wrong with Japan.
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

it' s far from wrong - it' s what' s so great about this country - girls are considered gamers there. They make consoles appealing to them.

With Pink DS selling very well in UK , it could mean that we' re heading in the right direction though.(or maybe it was majik buying all of them?)

New Super Mario Brothers is excellant. When I first got it I couldn' t put it down either.

Advance Wars Dual Strike is another excellant game worth getting.
