Halo Graphic Novel - My Short Review - Aug 19, 2006 22:33
I' ve just read it and it' s OK.Yes, just OK.

There are 4 Stories of which (in my personal opinion) 1 is very well drawn (it' s just awesome to look at), 1 has a good story, 1 has a passable story and 1 is drawn terribly and has totally pointless story.

Gallery is nice - it shows how much better the halo world could' ve been if some concepts were brought to life in 3d enviroment.

I think it' s a musthave for all Halo fans who love everything that adds to their Halo knowledge.

It' s nowhere near as essential for Halo enthusiasts as Halo books.

In fact, had it been a part of Halo3 Special Edition package - it would be awesome. As it is, it' s not worth 25$.

It' s nicely made and feels like a quality product though.

If you haven' t read the books (especially 1st and 3rd) you shouldn' t bother with this for now - go find those books. If you have, than you can check it, but it' s no big deal.

I' m not a huge Halo fan mind you , I' ve read Halo books and enjoyed them a lot, but the game (both H1 and 2) itself is just very good imo. Those books make you go " shit, it could' ve been so deep and so fuckin incredible"

I hope Halo 3 will change that.

I read the books, I enjoyed them more then the games actually. If you ever enjoyed a minute of the Halo games you need to read the books.
