Don' t you mean artist? I meant it, but I´m 16 year old & from Switzerland, so normally, I couldn´t speak(or write) English. I have a language talent, that´s why.

Sorry, nah, that' s alright. I didn' t meant to correct you, some people do consider themselves drawers, but I prefer people to call themselves artists; improves their morale..

Nice pic! I' m not one to pass judgement on actual characters, because that sort of thing is always so subjective, but I will point this out, look at the way the sidewalk is drawn towards the horizon line, It makes the sidewalk look off kilter by a few degrees. It looks like the drawing doesn' t account for the curb on the sidewalk. It' s nothing big, but it did catch my eye when I first saw it. Am I right in guessing you drew the character and then added background when you were done? There' s nothing wrong with it, I do it all the time, but having some idea of where the character is going to stand in the final pic helps alot with that sort of thing. Edit: The pic does rock though

Thanks everyone for your input. I' ll try to answer all the questions tell me if I leave something out, k. -First off I usually don' t color my pics I like how they look shaded but i' v been practicing coloring on the computer, but befor I color it on my pc i' ll ink it and i' ll post that version too.- Second yeh Eddie your right I did draw the character first and just added the backround (I usually do), because its hard for me to think of where I want the character unless I think of some story and know where I want the character. Thanks again everyone. P.S. it' d be cool to see some of your drawings to.

Seriously they are good Mike.K, Keep it up. I put about 2 of mine up HERE Note: It' s a play on VX' s idea, so I tried to do as best I could without a story to give it more depth, I' ll try to put some of my story characters up..

MikeK, here' s one, it' s done using colouring pencils and a normal pencil, it' s A3 in size, and could only scan in half, if I were to scan the other half, I' d have to put them together..

Nice job I like how you shaded that one, what did you use, colored pencils? Mine are also off the top of my head, I havn' t tried to copy anything in a few years. My pic is also cut short because of my scanner. Great pic though.

My pic is also cut short because of my scanner. Great pic though. Yeah, I used coloured pencils, that one took a day to complete. He' s one character out of 38 that belong in one story.. So I can' t leave him up because he is part of a story, and his identity is based on his image. Have you got any more drawings that you can put up? ORIGINAL: Evil Man look like something I' d have drawn in kindergarden Put some up please, I want to know if we could draw the same at Kindergarden level...

Pure untouched pencil Digital I consider what i' ve posted here relatively sub par, especially my pencil work. I have some vastly superior coursework that i' m recycling for a private project that i' m not going to post here as i don' t want to take the risk of having the ideas and characters stolen. If anybody ever wants to see some of my project work then just PM me and we' ll sort something out.

You guys are really good. Have you ever concidered inking your pictures (using non digital techniques)? I think your pictures would really benefit from that, especially Mike' s. I' ve done some pictures myself that looked like crap but when I inked them they looked pretty decent. Nice pictures like yours should look awesome if you use the right inking techniques.

This one took me a while to finish, and I couldn' t get the whole picture because it' s bigger than my scanner, but here it is.
