I was always a huge Buck Rogers fan (Gil Gerrard, Erin Gray) but I hated the original Battlestar Galactica for the simple reason that I kept falling asleep during the episodes I watched as a kid... To its credit, I did like certain aspects of the new Battlestar Galactica, but over time I lost interest because of the pacing. Like the original it seems to be written as one long-ass SPACE soap opera...  Hopefully things will pick up someday so I' ll tune back in.
