Anyone else watch the trailer for Tekken 5 and think...

...outdated.

Not played Tekken for years. It barely seems worth it when VF4evo trashes it with all the subtlety of an A-Bomb.

Ive never been a tekken fan. VF DOA and SC pretty much over shadow that game easily.

The Graphics in Tekken 5 look like shit. but it might be fun.

I started hating Tekken after i played Tekken 4.Tekken 1,2,3,and tag tournament were awesome games.

Now its all DOA or Soul Calibur.

DOA, SC, and VF are much better. I also like many 2-D fighting games more than I like Tekken.

It' s only outdate to DOA3, but it' s great to see them pushing the PS2' s hardware just that bit more, shame that some of the enviroments STILL have that stupid 2d backgrond syning problem.

I gave up after Tekken tag. Soul calibur VF and just recently King Of Fighters: Maximum Impact are waaay better choices.
I couldn' t' t help thinking ' Same Old" when viewing the trailer. Tekken 1,2,3 and Tekken tag all had noticeable differences and advancements that distinguished them from each other. (just play Tekken 2 and see how different it feels)

Tekken 4 and 5 unfortunately seem like rehashes

Even though fighter games may be my fav type of game, i loath when you have to hold back in order to block... drives me nutts.
