PS3 pre-order (Sweden) Interesting for non-swedes as well

So swedens biggest videogamestore Webhallen has begun taking pre-orders for the PS3. Nice!

Pre-ordering seems a little more complex than usual though. You don' t just order it, you get a special pre-order CD which you have to use on your computer and log on to the PS3 pre-order site where you can pre-order it for real. I suppose this is to prevent single persons from buying too many PS3' s.....

I think that' s kind of bad because that' ll make every non-hardcore games who doesn' t follow the industry think that it' s the actuall in-game graphics.

Vision Gran Turismo Has been put up as a game. The screenshots seem to be from E3 2006 which I thought that was just a demo, a GT4 with higher resolution?

Right now all games have a 599 SEK* price tag.

I just noticed that Siba (big electronics warehouse in Sweden) is selling it for 5890 SEK. Nice!

Lucky Swedes. I wonder if they know how many they' ll be recieving, because every time I call a retailer and ask. (I' ve learned to stop asking when, but how many instead) they don' t know how many are going to be allocated to each store.

I guess that' s what the CD' s are for. Once you' ve registered at Sony' s website Sony will make sure that the store you got the CD from will have a PS3 for you.
I' m guessing there won' t be many none-preordered units.
The rule of this pre-order CD thing is: First come, first serve.
That' s what they' ve said. So if you want a PS3 in Sweden, you better get one of those CD' s.

I am going to burn 1000 of those cds and render their syceme useless.
