Zelda: Twilight Princess this summer?
-
Jul 09, 2006 03:17
Ok, I don' t know if I' ve been misinformed or anything but somehow I got the idea that the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess would be released at the same time as the Wii version (at the Wii launch). That would mean the 4th quarter of 2006. That' s the impression I got from Reggies talk at E3 2006 anyway. But according to Swedens biggest videogame store Webhallen, the date set by Nintendo themselves is 3rd quarter of 2006 (july, august, september). They say that Nintendo has never said that the Gamecube version would be released in the 4th quarter. Only the Wii version. So, have I been misinformed or have Webhallen been misinformed? I hope I am the one who' s wrong because that would mean that I' ll be playing Twiligt Princess pretty soon.

Tp is a launch title for the Wii, No Wii, No Tp.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine. Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

It won' t launch for Cube before Wii. The only way we' ll see the game before November is if Wii launches earlier than expected.

The annoying thing is, that the game is probably already finished and has possibly been so for months.

I Wouldn' t worry about that - since N uses every minute wisely - they keep delaying, but they always deliver after that. Wii' s launch date is to be announced on september so it wouldn' t make sense to announce release date like " july 25th" in september :) I think that releasing GCN version a bit earlier would make sense , since I can' t imagine any reason for not getting the Wii withi Zelda (Wii' s cheap and Zelda games have been as good as any game can ever get)

actually the zelda wind waker games couldnt have sucked any more than mario sunshine, luigi' s mansion, ordonkey konga. And now instead of releasing a good zelda game(like maybe re-releaseing ocarina of time or majoras mask) on the DS their making Zelda: the phantom hour glass. WTF?

I gave my sister my Gamecube and all the games for her birthday this year, she was hinting very seriously for it since I got the 360. She still won' t play Zelda no matter how many times I tell her though, just Donkey Conga and Monkeyball!!

My sister plays Burnout... My sis (older, I' m youngest) only plays PC games. The last time she tried playing on the console was when we had Lord of the Rings games. She sucked. She also sucked at Buffy the Vampire Slayer (my sis is a Buffy-nut, she buys anything Buffy. I like Buffy too but not enough to buy that sucky game. So yeah, SHE bought it) Other than that, she plays Diablo II, and some RTS games.

My mom has played TT,but she plays very very crappy. Play equal to the EASY computer, when she play at her best :P My brother plays games,my sister? I think she quited at the age of 19-20,she was a kick-ass player at NES games, like zelda mario and ofc on the SNES also, but i think she quited after it. She said something like she get a headache in 3d games.

When I play Resident Evil 4 and my mom watches she goes like " Man, I wish I had a weapon like that and could blow peoples brains out..." And when I play Mario she goes " What a stupid game. What' s with all that irritating jumping?" If someone thinks I have issues, blame my mom!

My mom is a very conservative christian, so I don' t play too many games in front of her. My dad however, is a firearms buff, so every time I play a shooter in front of him, he looks over my shoulder and i hear things like " the slide for that AKS-74u is on the other side" or " Who taught your character to rack the action on a sniper rifle?" or " that doesn' t sound anything like an MG42!" So I guess they come from two different worlds on the subject. My sister played Warioware: Mega Party Games and Mario: Sunshine, that was before i had to return them to my friend, now she gripes that there' s nothing good to play. :)
