MuteCity: I realize that nobody reads. It' s why we' re mostly a country of morons.

And I don' t " diss" people' s reading tastes. I' m simply saying that it' s borderline blasphemy to categorize the Halo books in with the true masters of the literary creation.

Hehehe. Fair enough. I really used to read so much more...on endless summer days. I just finished a loner...Ishmael. Quick read. I mostly just read sci fi and fantasy......oh badasses! um....Max Payne! Yeah! " I felt compelled to give Vlad back his gun, one bullet at a time." Almost forgot the topic

Being a great storyteller is what made the Clancy books good. And they wouldn' t take offense considering they' re dead. But how about instead of arguing we just agree to this: I like the books, you don' t.

Fine. But it has nothing to do with " like." Whether I like them or not, they' re not of the finest quality.

As I said, thats your opinion. I never said they were the best. I just said they were good.

sorry to break up the " Badasses of books" forum, but i think Yamazaki and Shen woo of the king of fighters fame. look up Ymazaki' s and Shen woo' s fighting style. those are proof that they are the baddest of bad asses. Dante is the man and can take Master Chief or what ever his name is any day of the week. But if that guy from Halo starts making more of himself like his does in the co-op mode, then MAYBE Dante might have a problem.
