360 BC list updated this week with 20+ titles - Jun 12, 2006 21:14
20+ (possibly 28)

Doom 3 and Lego Starwars are among them, the rest are still unknowns. Microsoft has taken a lot of heat over the BC issue, and so these games really NEED to be super-uper popular titles that tons of people want. What would you like to be made compatible, or what are your predictions?

I would like:

Soul Calibur 2
Psychonauts
Conker: Live & Reloaded
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay
Jet Set Radio Future
Otogi (1 or 2)
Shenmue 2
Oddworld Strangers Wrath
Unreal Championship
Rallisport Challenge (1 or 2)
Deus Ex: Invisible War
Thief 3
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Phantom Dust
DoAX
DoAU
KOTOR 2

Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

FUCK! Where the Hell is Morrowind? I can' t belive this isn' t backwards compatible yet. I don' t care if its the hardest to make B.C. A few months ago I bought Morrowind GOTY and I thought damn this will be sweet in wide screen, I was shocked when I discovered I' d have to dust off my Xbox to play it. Microsoft if you' re listening, fuck the next 20 games you' re working on with b.c. and get fucking Morrowind to work.

Best fucking game on the console and MS is ignoring it, idiots.

It could be one of them though.

However, seeing as Oblivion is still " new" , i doubt they' ll make Morrowind BC just yet. I agree though, the game kicks ass!

18. Spider-Man

Is that the movie 1 or Spider-Man 2? Because I would really like to swing around
New York City...

It could be Ultimate SPiderman, the cell shaded one came out after Hulk. It was okay, but " Dumbed down" considerably from the movie games, which were kick arse! Not a patch on Hulk Ultimate Destruction though.

I went out and bought Capcom' s arcade collection, can' t play it, and no sign of BC for it because SF2 is coming out on live, eventually. Dammit, I want some Ghouls and Ghosts action!!!!

The first Spiderman game sucked. The only thing I enjoyed was swinging from rooftop to rooftop in the first level.
And that explains why I love the second game which gives you more freedom and more swinging.
The cell-shaded game is a mixed bag. Stylish graphics with some elements from the second game is great but it was limited.

Some games do not work when using VGA, but we haven' t tested them all for that yet so i' ll just update later when we have.

Somthing that I need to check on is if the co-op online in Chaos Theory works. Kept freezing up when me and any friend tried it.
And as for custom soundtracks in BC games try out this little trick:

TeamXbox

Make sure the game allows you to adjust music volume otherwise custom music and in game music will both be playing. Also adjust music volume beofre starting game as you cant do so after.

I don' t get why they would make the clearly inferior SpiderMan the movie
BC, when SpiderMan 2 sold more (I think), was a better game, didn' t care about
the story, but damn was it satisfying to swing to every rooftop and get such
speed on level 8 swing.... I wanna play this on my 360..... AND GIVE ME MY
OTOGI!!!!

I don' t have any of the games that they made BC... So that update was a waste
of 30 seconds of my life...

Note that games that run in PAL-50 like Doom 3 will NOT work using the VGA cable!

Majik,

I had some issues with 50/60Hz games, on the HiDef cable supplied - this might work on VGA cable, might not!!

Turn off the xbox first.

Turn off HiDef i.e. set it to normal. There' s a switch at the box which plugs in to your xbox. Or plug in a pal scartcable.

Turn the xbox back on, go to settings, change from 60Hz to 50 Hz PAL setting.

Turn off console, put your HiDef cable back in, et viola! It should work okay.

Yeah i know about that, but it' s the cable that doesn' t support the signal. Unfortunately i would need to play using composite cables and i' m currently using a CRT monitor.
